Day 1 |
Arrival at Badacsony, situated at Lake Balaton. Lunch at a typical Hungarian restaurant, then visit to a vineyard. Wine tasting with professional guide in the cellars of the Badacsony wine district, famous for Kéknyelű, Szürkebarát and Riesling. Travel to Budapest. Dinner and overnight stay in Budapest. |

Day 2 |
Sightseeing tour in Budapest, including a ride on the funicular up to the Castle Hill. Visit the champagne-cellar of Hungarovin, followed by a dinner in Borkatakomba Restaurant. Overnight stay in Budapest. |

Day 3 |
Travel to Eger, home of the famous "Bulls Blood". Visit a vineyard and taste some wine in the Museum Cellar. Enjoy a lunch at the hotel, and take a city tour in the afternoon, which includes the Fortress and the Basilica. Dinner and overnight in Eger. |

Day 4 |
Travel to Tokaj, the world-famous wine district of Hungary. The soil, which is of volcanic origin, and its special microclimate, which helps the grapes to ripen, has helped to produce its internationally renowed wines (Szamorodni, Furmint, Hárslevelű and Muscat), all of which are the fruits of many centuries of labour. Visit a vineyard and taste the wines of the Rákóczi wine cellar, including "Aszu", the so called "king of wines, wine of the kings". After lunch return to Eger. Dinner and overnight in Eger. |
