VISITS (all day / half day)

* The Parliament (1h guided visit) visit the most beautiful Parliament in Europe

* The Opera House (45 min. guided visit)

* The Baroque Castle in Gödöllő (Grassalkovics Baroque Castle), most beloved residence of Sissi (visit 24 interior rooms)

* The Operetta Theatre, visit the interior, the wardrobe, the backstage and see the stage technology. Later ease with coffee and tea and watch a short Operetta show (20 min.)

* Museum Tour, with visits of the Hungarian National Gallery and the Museum of Forming Arts, professional guide

* On the track of famous Hungarian composers, visit the houses and museums of Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály as well as the Franz Liszt Museum and inspect the interior of the State Opera

* Welcome reception with one glass of wine from Tokaj or Hungarian champagne on the Gellért Hill

*Budapest Spring Festival (March - April)
The Hungarian capital turns into an outstanding Cultural centre for two weeks. Every evening there are concerts of Hungarian orchestras, opera and operetta spectacles, jazz, dance, ballet and other presentations in participation of well-known Hungarian and foreign artists.

* Danube Concerts at the Danube Palace: "Concert of the Symphonic Orchestra"

* Folklore evening in the Danube Palace / in the Buda Vigadó: Multicoloured Hungarian folklore show presented by the Danube Folklore Ensemble or by the Rajkó Ensemble

* Operetta Theatre: Operetta or Musical in the beautiful art nouveau building of the Operetta Theatre


* Lunch: in Budapest / in the city / in the province

* Dinner: traditional Hungarian dishes to the tunes of gipsy music in a restaurant in Budapest with folklore show and wine or with gipsy music and wine

* Market Hall visit: Welcome spirit and samples of delicate Hungarian salami and sausage, refreshing drinks

* Hungarian village wedding: You can participate at an original village wedding. Later a solemn dinner and wine guarantee a good mood.

* Wine cellar visit: in Budafok (close to Budapest) with guidance through one of the biggest wine cellars of Budapest, with wine tasting and snack afterwards or in a wine museum with wine tasting and snack

* Sweets-tasting in a confectionery: especially for sweet-toothed guests with tasty cakes, coffee & tea

* Trip to the Danube Bend: Esztergom with the beautiful Basilica, then with a boat to Visegrád, where you have lunch, then to Szentendre (visit the Old-town and the open-air Ethnography Museum) with leisure time (incl. 2 entrees, boat ticket & lunch)

* The "Great Plain" Program: incl. aperitif, lunch or dinner with gipsy music, horse show, visit the equerries, riding and horse-carriage drive possibilities

* Trip to the Buda Mountains: You drive up to the Mountains with the ropeway, there you have picnic (lunch under the sky). Boiled-goulash made over open fire with Hungarian brandy.

* Knight-plays with a royal meal in the "Reneszánsz Restaurant" (incl. brandy, 3 cours menu, unlimited wine, coffee, soft-drinks)

In medieval atmosphere - reception of the knights, knight-plays, renaissance dances, knight duel with medieval weapons, snack & wine on the roof terrace of the Salomon Tower. (duration: 3,5 h)

* Trip to Eger: Travel through the Mátra Mountains to Eger, one of Hungary's most beautiful baroque cities. Visit architectural monuments of the occupation time of the Turks: the Fortress, the Basilica, the Bishop Library of the 18th century etc. (incl. lunch in the "Valley of the Beautiful Lady" and choose the "Wine General")

option: Lippizzaner-stud inspection, horse-carriage drive and dinner

* Trip to Szilvásvárad: Visit the Lippizzaner-equeries, Hungarian stud farm, welcome drink, horse-carriage drive, railway course to the waterfalls of the "Szalajka-valley" with grilled trout for lunch or dinner.

* Hollókő Visit: The little village in north of Hungary, part of the UNESCO world-heritages. Women dressed in traditional Hungarian costumes welcome you, then demonstration of the old spinning and carving traditions, snack with wine, walk in the village, visit the Village museum as well as the Spinning Mill.

option: Village program completed with lunch to Hungarian tunes, brandy and wine at local families, made on housewives kind.

* Trip to Lake Balaton I.: First you visit Balatonfüred with a walk on the promenade and the Peninsula Tihany with the Abbey. Afterwards you have lunch in a restaurant with excellent view on the Lake Balaton. Then you visit Castle Festetics in Keszthely

options: - wine tasting in Badacsony

- boat-trip on the Lake Balaton (1 h), with lunch on a winegrower yard (boiler goulash made over open fire), with brandy and Hungarian pancakes

* Trip to Veszprém and Herend: Veszprém is an important medieval city of the time of Hungarian kings & queens. During the city-tour you see the Castle District, the Cathedral and the baroque houses. Later you drive to Herend and visit the Porcelanium, ease in the Confectionery Apicius with coffee & cakes.

* Wine-reads: in Hungarian tradition on a vineyard, pick and press the grapes while you watch a folklore show, then taste old and new wine during a meal

* Kalocsa program: City-tour in Kalocsa, visit the Railway-Station, the Paprika Museum, the Bishop Library etc. Organ concert in the Cathedral. Lunch in a typical "Csárda" with folklore program, brandy and wine / and wine-cellar visit in Hajós (wine-cellar village) with wine tasting

* Pannonhalma: Visit the oldest Benedict Abbey of Hungary (1,5 h guided visit)

* Tokaj: Home of the world-known Aszú-wines. Wine-cellar visit with winetasting in the historical Rákóczi-cellar

* Sárospatak: Visit the historical city with the castle and have a boat-trip on the River Tisza (Theiss).

* Aggtelek: The stalactite caves of Aggtelek are part of the UNESCO world-heritages. Visit of Szilvásvárad with inspection of the Lipizzaner-stud, incl. horse-carriage drive and grilled trout at a campfire with brandy and wine.
